An Evening Honoring the Brave 19
benefiting the Granite Mountain Interagency Hotshot Crew (GMIHC) Learning
and Tribute Center

Date: Wednesday, June 19, 2019

Purpose: The Granite Mountain Interagency Hotshot crew (GMIHC) Learning and Tribute Center is raising funds to
acquire a larger, freestanding building to honor our brave 19 hotshots who perished in the Yarnell Hill Fire on June 30,
2013. The Center will also be expanded into a one-of-a-kind educational facility teaching about wildland firefighting and
fire prevention. The Center will house all the artifacts left at the tribute fence around Station 7 after the tragedy, and it is
operated and maintained solely by community volunteers.

Schedule:
3:30 pm Check in (Each ticket holder receives limited edition GM hotshot challenge coin at check in.)
4:00 pm - Showing of movie, Only the Brave.
7:00 pm - Private event with heavy appetizers (from El Gato Azul), free beer (from Granite Mountain Brewing) and wine,
music (by Rusty Pistols Reloaded), and silent auction of unique items.
7:45 pm - Q&A with panel about the movie. (Guests are encouraged to bring items for autographs and pictures at the
end.)

Panelists: Survivor Brendan McDonough, Movie Producer Mike Menchel, Family Member John Marsh, GM Hotshot
Alum and Movie Advisor Pat McCarty, & First Crew Chief Duane Steinbrink.

Attire: Prescott casual, feel free to wear your favorite firefighter t-shirt!

Location: Elks Theatre and Performing Arts Center, 117 East Gurley Street, Prescott, Arizona

Cost: $219 per person (proceeds benefit the GMIHC Learning and Tribute Center.) Due to the intimate venue, seats
